How long will the self-study be open?

Session recordings, materials, and post-session assessments will be available on the virtual event platform through May 31, 2021.

How do I access the recordings and materials/self-study?

• Materials and recordings are available in the "Self-Study" block, which can be found on the main page of the virtual event platform, or under the "Self-Study" menu item under "Program"
• The "Self-Study" block which will contain all presentation materials and recordings from the live sessions, as well as post-assessments for Self-Study CDE.
• Select the session title under "Session Material & Assessments" on each session page to watch the recording, and view materials
• To complete the post-session assessment, click the button on the sidebar to proceed to the assessment.
• Not all sessions are available for self-study CDE.

I couldn't attend the full program for the live event. Can I attend via the self-study?

All attendees who attend the live event have access to the self-study option. However, those who attended the live event and received CE credits for completing the session evaluations, may not take the post-assessments to receive additional credit.

How do I earn CDE credits through the self-study?

Self-Study participants are required to watch session recordings, review the materials, and complete a post-session assessment for each individual session. After completing the session assessment, you will receive an email containing your CDE certificate for that session.

If you attended any live sessions, remember to complete the evaluation (posted under "Program" > "Evaluations") and review all attended sessions. An email containing your CE certificate will be sent to you within 5 business days.

Important Notice: live event attendees may not earn duplicate credits within the self-study activity.

Are the self-study post-session assessments graded?

No, the assessments are ungraded and act only to gauge the effectiveness of the presentation.

Do I have to complete the post-session assessments?

Only if you are completing the self-study for CDE. If you have already claimed CDE through the Live event evaluation, and just wish to watch the recordings, then you should not complete the post-session assessments.

Where is my CE information stored?

Your CE information will be added and stored within your AAOM member or non-member profile. AAOM members may also easily access CE information from the AAOM Member Center.
